House Building / Plot Landscaping
At Sitescapes, at tender stage, we encourage the housebuilder to have faith in us to landscape the plot at the end of the plot build. Over the years it has become very frustrating to turn up and plots not to be ready or having to work around other trades.
We make a promise that we will turn up and landscape the plot when required thus reducing having to return and re-landscape or carry out remedial works.
By having faith in us with this approach the changes are notable, with the complete aesthetics of the site changed for the better – with plots looking fresh when the customer arrives to move in. In addition, we have noticed a considerable drop in customer care jobs having to be done with contractors carrying out work after we have completed. For example, tarmac workers, painters, ground workers, who all show no respect for the previous contractors and the plots can lose their general aesthetics.
Our approach of landscaping at the very end of a plot build has been tried out on a few sites, with one site at Stafford winning the national NHBC award and more recently a site in Lichfield getting into a top 5 position.
